Some days of my life

Now you know about my temporary housing. Do you long to know about my daily life? Here’s a look into some typical days at Peace House.

So I start my day mostly around half past six. Then I prepare my breakfast. Breakfast is either a noodle soup or peanut butter/chocolate cream with Toast. A cold drink and fruit are essential for me, too. I do cardiovascular exercises every second day on the roof. (Running, Sit-ups and working out tool) I’ll have to get up even earlier soon, to escape the heat. The temperature is currently rising up to 38 ° C and it’s getting gradually more humid. Hehe, my training clothing is already boxers.

Then the first lesson starts. I prepare myself for the next teaching in the gaps. I meet friends on weekdays at times in-between. My teaching day ends at seven o’clock. I attend Vietnamese lessons on Mondays and Wednesdays. I must confess that I am currently, to my shame, relatively unmotivated in that issue. The timetable is modified by me now. The teaching hours are (mostly) slick and offer me a more efficient set up. The Friday is teaching free now. My Monday classes start after lunch. However, this is not inevitably free. Since the work for VPV club must be prepared and their activities are held up on weekends.

We play cards, watch movies or finish tasks in front of the PC in the evenings. The weekends are habitually spent in the city. There we stay whether at Old Quarter or Westlake and stopover at our standard pubs and clubs. Some activities of the past few weeks were e.g. the European film festival in the National Theatre, historical movie at the opera house with live orchestral accompaniment, Iranian film festival or another visit at the opera house to a Giacomo Puccini opera.

Yann\'s motorbike

Two weekends ago, Yann and I drove with his motorbike (yes it drives occasionally) to Thái Nguyên Province. We visited Slawa in his county and had a good time there. Unfortunately one of Yann’s last weekend’s here. He’s from now on at a project in Da Nang, central Viet Nam. Of course we celebrated his farewell before his departure.

Most of the time at the moment is spent for our move out. I aim to process it as soon as possible and let you know by the time.

  1. Hallo Michael,

Denke hast dich doch gut eingelebt in alles.
    Weiterhin gute Zeit.
    Gruß Esther

  2. Hallo Esther,
